Is FALL Nipping At Our Heels?

WOW! I can sure feel that Chill in the Air! Gives a whole new thrill.... Hunting Season, School, new teachers, old friends, new friends, changing leaves, changing seasons!! Man, am I going to miss summer! We kind of got a late start at enjoying summer together as a family. First part of the summer we were boat shopping and finally bought one on the Fourth of July. Since then every chance we get it is run to Roosevelt Lake for the weekend and play on the lake until the monsoons roll in and run you off the lake! And you better heed their warning, cuz it is not a pretty site to get caught on the lake during a monsoon storm!

Kodi is such a natural at the wakeboarding! Only after a few times up, she is boarding with one hand and learning to cut back and fourth. She even dared the wake which her Mom has not accomplished yet! Jace has taken a liking to the knee board and tube. He thinks they are the bomb!! And we all love to just swim and listen to some good music! We have had more fun together and with friends in the last month then we have had in a long time! It is amazing, when we step on the boat, I haven't heard my kids fight once! Is that possible??

Troy has picked up on the wakeboarding fast too! I know where Kodi gets it and it is not from me! He is already trying to jump the wake and do tricks! Me, I take the slower road and have to get a feel for things before I get very adventurous!

We hope to have at least a couple more months of warm weather down there to enjoy the boat, but it is definitely going to be harder. Football games are on Saturdays and hunts land on the weekend also. So it will be hit and miss but always fun!!

Hunting Season - Troy just left to guide a Rocky Mtn Bighorn Sheep Hunter in the Pecoas (New Mexico). Hunting Season is always a ride at least thru January! But it is Troy's Sanity and it works for us!

School Starts Wednesday, August 13th - Hip Hip Hooray!! I think the kids are ready too! Kodi is starting the 4th grade and Jace is going into the 1st Grade.

As for Mom, same ol' thing except I am taking an exercise class with hopes that it doesn't kill me!
